Welcome to the East Tennessee Angus Association
The East Tennessee Angus Association was founded in 1918 to promote Angus cattle breeders who live and breed their cattle among the beautiful rolling hills of East Tennessee. We’re proud to be one of the oldest nationally recognized cattle breeding organizations within the entire American Angus Association®. Members of the East Tennessee Angus Association have a wide range of experience – from Angus enthusiasts to seedstock and registered cattle breeders and producers who offer some of the finest and best quality Angus cattle anywhere. In total, cattle producers within our organization offer more than 70 lots of quality Angus females and Angus sires.
Annual Angus Consignor Production Sale
Our annual Angus Consignor Production Sale is held every year in March and provides an excellent selection of Angus heifers, bred heifers, cow and calf pairs, and bulls. Our Angus producers and consignors consistently offer excellent quality genetics with outstanding Expected Progeny Differences (EPDs), strong structure, and a promising future of healthy Angus calves.
East Tennessee Angus Association Junior Members
Our junior members are an essential part of the East Tennessee Angus Association, with a long history of support dating back as early as 1953. Our Spring Angus Sale offers junior members a chance to showcase their animals in the Angus cattle show, and then continue on to the sale ring. The event serves as a great opportunity for up-and-coming juniors to purchase their first – or additional – show calves just in time for the start of the Angus show season.
Angus Summer Field Day
In June, East Tennessee Angus Association holds its annual Summer Field Day. This exciting event gives juniors the opportunity to bring their Angus and Angus-influenced cattle to the show ring during one of the first big cattle shows of the season. It’s a great opportunity to support our junior cattle breeders, as well as meet and greet other Angus breeders and enthusiasts. The Angus Summer Field Day typically offers educational programs for those interested in Angus breeding, as well as clinics and other activities for all Angus interests.
